Pastor/ Founder

In 1978 Edward E. Weary accepted Christ as his personal Savior. In 1979 hearing the cries of men behind the prison walls he answered the call. He served the Philadelphia Prison System for forty-two years.

In between the years of working 20 years for P.E.C.O. and serving the men behind the prison walls 3-4 nights weekly, he attended Manna Bible Institute where he graduated in 1984.

Answering the call to pastoral ship , he began to established the church in the 1991, Upper Room Evangelistic Outreach Ministry

The church motto: To reach the lost at any cost.

He has been married for 38 years to Elizabeth Weary.

He was blessed with six children: Darrell,Yvette, Tamika, Ramona, (late Edward T) Daniel and Genise.

Although losing Edward T July 10, 2020, it has been devastating for him and his family.  This loss caused Pastor Weary to thrive in his faith, not staggering at the promises of God. Knowing that all things work together for the good of them that love the Lord and are called according to his purpose.
